I type in both username and password (I should be able to just paste them or have my browser remember them but no, the system for Windows Client and Browser-based Curve Fever 3 doesn't allow this).
Why doesn't either of these two accept my username / password, when i can play Curve Fever 2?

Curve Fever 2 and Curve Fever 3 are not connected to each other by accounts, so you will have to make a new account at Curve Fever 3 in order to play there. It is possible to use the same account name, but you will just have to make it again at Curve Fever 3. I hope this will solve your problem mate, have fun curving! ;)
