Unofficial Clan Tournament [PROPOSAL]
- Actually I have received enough feedback in private from the invited clans that made me decide that it is better to move the tournament to September or October since a lot of people are on holidays now. I'll keep in touch with them and set a new date soon.

I’m thinking of hosting an unofficial Clan Tournament, but I wanted to see if I’ll get feedback and if clans will actually play it. So before I’m hosting this tournament, I want to know if you guys like the idea. You don’t have to be premium to participate.
Tournament settings: 3v3, scaled map, only thin item and 100% overall drop probability.
Since I am hosting this tournament on my own, I decided to invite clans that, in my opinion, are serious and deserve the prizes and that don’t have so high chances to win an official tournament, because I got sick of the same pro players winning all the time so I want to give to other players a chance.
The prizes for winners : 3 months premium or 5500 coins. They will decide on their own what they want to get.
I only selected 8 active clans, you, Clan Leaders, can talk to your mates and you can send a maximum of two teams that will represent your clan (that will make it 16 teams so 4 groups of 4 teams each). For example: *CLAN NAME* 1 (Player 1, Player 2, Player 3) & *CLAN NAME* 2 (Player 1, Player 2, Player 3). In case a clan will only sign up 1 team, then the other clans may sign up a 3rd team to participate, following the example above. I will use the UEFA Champions League system depending on how many teams will sign up, with top 2 of each group going through.
So, what I want to ask you, Clan Leaders, is what days would you and your mates prefer for this tournament to take place? Either Wednesday 5th August or Saturday 8th August? Please send me a private message or leave a comment below, until Sunday 1st August and let me know your wish and I then will fix a date. After 1st of August, you won’t be able to add players, so you will be able to sign up (until 5th or 8th) only the players you had in clan before this date. If 1 or 2 clans won't participate, I may select 2 different clans.
Remember that for now, it hasn’t been decided yet if this tournament will take place or not.

hey..., i think that idea is great but...., can my clan join that unofficial tournament too???, clan is called N3RO, and we're at 119. position, and we wan't this chance too! :), soo..., what u say...? :)
The tournament hasn't been confirmed yet. If any of the invited clans won't confirm, I'll replace them with your clan, so stay tuned.
That's a nice idea. Unfortunately idk if I have time to play. I'll give extra lessons to a friend in August.

It's really sad that a casual player has to make such tournament on his own without any help from moderators. They just make the same boring tournaments every month and never improve anything (ban/punish focussing in FFA tournaments, splitting pro players etc.). Congratz for letting this game die slowly.

We have a clan mod and goatplayer has to organise this. seems like cf only care about the pros. Goat is doing a good thing by involving the whole community. its very hard to win tournaments i must say that and some people will just never have it in them or either the time to focus and practise for these pro tournaments so you gotta please all the medium players too and the low players.
For pro players you gotta make new game modes, exciting new things because they have mastered everything so the only thing they have now is one tournament every month and as i said its very hard to win

It's in my opinion senseless to discuss since i dont remember that anything that has been suggested was ever implemented or improved.
Well lollolo thats not entirely true since..... if we suggest "nothing", they will implement "nothing" so I guess they listen to us in that aspect...if u get me
I think it's a good idea to give chance to win to other clans... Because when we had started playing Olympics, we were like: registered, played 2 rounds in a tournament and nothing else... Than we didnt wanted to continue play different settings (2v2 thin, 3v3 speed...) and we even dont want to play an Olympic Curve fever games, because we don't see any sense in it... And you think we are only clan who don't see sense in playing Olympic Curve fever games?

Alright man, lets just regist our clans to Olympics, play some 2-3 rounds in a tournament, and watch most interesting match in final with clans vS and buny... And i think i understood why you dont like these idea... Ou wait, you are from vS clan right? Yeap, you are... The problem is that your last prize for Olympics ''free premium account'' is soon going to be exhausted and you want win it on half year again... Just give a chance to other clans, you can win your OFFICIAL Olympics and than you wont pay for your premium account!
I fully agree with Inge, that ''its very hard to win tournaments'', becouse ''pro players have mastered everything so the only thing they have now is one tournament every month''. And your right, for pro players better to ''make new game modes, exciting new things''. So it will fair games! It's a very good idea and more players will be interesed play in clans!

I really don't understand this discussion. To be a champion you have to beat the best. If you can't beat the best then you shouldn't be a champion. Boring or not that is how things work.
Credit to Goatplayer for making such a tournament. But this will never have an official status because CF champions compete in competitions open to everyone.
PS Haru: you think you help with such comments? I have already said that I plan on future tournaments having lower tiers so players knocked out in the first round etc can continue and have something to play for. Your negativity really inspires us :')

Your "we plan this and that" is redundant. We all heard these things for years and nothing ever happened. And man, I gave up to try to help since a long time, it's just the frustration speaking. I play this game since years now and I know very well how things work here. If you suggest things to improve the game... nothing happens. Someone will answer and say that your suggestion got noticed, but other things are more important now. It's like a never ending excuse. I suggested so many things already and none of it got invented, even though the community liked it or someone said that the team is working on it. You are very cynical if you say im negative, it's just the truth and we all know very well. Stop talking about doing things and start to do it for real.
