Hi,

Unfortunately, there is not enough information here for us to solve your problem. Have you checked the keys you are using in the game before it starts? Maybe you accidentally changed them.

i think he just mean the classical keylag, which is a type of lag which causes:

- your line don't move/move later when you press a key

- your line don't stop turning when you stop pressing the key

Unfortunately, I do not know enough from your post to assist you. However, there are several previous topics on the lag of Curve Fever gameplay, including the sticky topic in this forum section. If you require further advice, please refer to these and respond in said topics. There are already several topics dedicated to solving the lags of players, I hope you can find your solution there. The team is working hard to solve lag issues when they can.

sometimes i have this second problem, where line keeps turning on right side and doesn't stop even when i stop pressing my keys. Its rly annoying but luckily it doesn't happen often.

I don't know whether it's similar but sometimes my line goes in one direction without pressing any keys like the keys would get stuck (even though my keyboard is fine). It usually stops when I press again the key for the direction in which it goes automatically.

This is called 'keylag' and happens more and more often lately. From what I know there are problems with the reference servers of CurveFever, your ranking is now not only a score of your skill but of how good your internet is and how far you can handle those problems as well. Not really fair.

1. Download Google Chrome and CCleaner

2. Open Google Chrome and write in the searchbar " chrome://plugins "

3. On the upper right corner press on " details "

4. Search for Adobe Flashplayer and check if there are ( 2 files ) if you have just 1 file then please dont read the next points

5. Disable both of the flashplayer and close your browser.

6. Open CCleaner and cclean your caches, cookies etc

7. If you ccleaned ur browsercache then reopen Google Chrome and go to " chrome://plugins " again

8. This time you activate just one flash player, this one is the one you have to activate: C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF64_16_0_0_235.dll

9. Enjoy game without lag

just a question, do you use chrome to play the game, or is it just the way to fix the lagging problem?

I did what Gilnash said, i cleared all cookies, all rubbish files, i turned off all programs that can eat my internet connection, i can reset my modem million times and i still lag and sometimes i cant move my line completely. Keylags happen in every single game I play. It's been for like a few months now. I tried every possible solution suggested in here, i tried pretty much everything I could and it doesnt help. Sometimes something helps for a while but after short space of time it happens again.

I use Windows 7 and Opera 20/Chrome to play.

Something definitely sounds amiss on your system onCocaine. Just to clarify, have you updated to the latest Chrome and Flash Player update? If not, do this. Also do you have a lot of unnecessary plugins active on your Chrome browser? I knew this wouldn't be the solution for everyone but it has worked for a few people so I posted to try and help out. And what anti-virus do you use? I would also check your router to see if there is excess traffic on your network.

I can only suggest things to try out, I'm not a specialist in this area but some of this stuff is worth checking imo.

Yes, of course, I use the latest version of Flash Player. I never install plugins for browsers because I dont need it. Only necessary programs/plugins etc

Yes, other people use the same internet connection as me at the same time but I dont think its a problem in that since I tried it when I was alone at home and it was exactly the same.

Hmm to be honest I didnt think of antivirus. I use Kaspersky. I'll try to play without Kaspersky in the background.

I have the same probleme :/

I use Kaspersky and have to disable it just to log into cf. When it is reactivated it seems fine, but I have adapted my settings to allow Curve Fever to run nicely. I still do not know the problem for your lag though. From what you said there, it is 1. the server or 2. your laptop/computer itself. I have had to do a lot of tinkering about with mine to get optimal performance, I guess some people are luckier than others in this respect.

As a principle though, I would make sure your PPAPI flash player is disabled. This is the first thing in my book.
