Join the first Premium Achtung, die Kurve! 2 Tournament

Dear all,

We are preparing the first online Achtung, die Kurve 2 tournament on saturday 14th of january at 20:00 GMT+1 time. We are very excited how it will work out :). We hope you will enjoy it.

Rules:

The tournament starts at 20:00 GMT+1 time on saturday 14th january.

You can register till friday 23:00 GMT+1, friday 13th of january

You can join if you have a premium account. You join by popping a message in the following thread: http://achtungdiekurve.net/node/122.

One game consists of 4 to max 5 players with premium powerups.

Players will initially be randomly divided into games.

The amount of people that advance to the next round depends on the amount of people joining. Lets say we want everyone to play at least 2 games.

The exact schedule will be posted at friday in the evening in this topic . The schedule will consist of the rooms with the players in it, and the time it will start. The first round starts at 20:00 GMT+1, next round at 20:20 GMT+1. People are encouraged to come 5 minutes earlier into the room, so we can start exactly at 20:00. The rooms will be created by Brouns and me.

There is no compensation for lag or any other problems that you might face. The game is played, as it is.

Rewards:

You will be marked as a tournament winner. This means that it shows as a title to your name, and it will also show when you enter a room: "The winner of the first ADK tournament entered the room". If people have better ideas, please let me know ;). Also, we will add your result to the Achtung, die Kurve! tournament wikipedia section: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Achtung,_die_Kurve!#Tournaments .

I think if you win the tournament, you will also have alot of points earned by defeating your opponents...

So the tournament starts at 20.00, but the first round of it starts at 18.00? I'm confused.

hey,

skwara is better ;)

I can understand you also want to join, however there are some good reasons to have the first tournament for premium only

1. It is a little thank you for the people who support the game.
2. It is easier to handle a small amount of people, especially at this early stage.
3. If there will be any problems, then they will be easy to deal with

And to finish on a positive note. It is never said that this is the last tournament we will ever have. We wil learn form this tournament and make a great and better tournament next time ;)
