[Guide] get rid of lags in google chrome

MOD UPDATE: This method will no longer work starting from chrome version 45! This version will be released somewhere mid September.

Yo, I, just like many others (probably) have had problems with flash player lags.
I've tried using different browsers, standalone, etc.

This solution works best for me (how nice of me, I even made a vid for this guide)

https://www.youtube.com/embed/cWrhJArZf9M

If you'd like to try using the standalone flashplayer
download: http://labsdownload.adobe.com/pub/labs/flashruntimes/flashplayer/flashplayer19_sa_win_32.exe
then when you run it click go to: File -> Open & in Location: type http://curvefever.com/CF_preloader.swf

Made this guide for Geeltje but I'm nice enough to share it with the rest of you :) enjoy!

Btw does anyone know how I can embed the vid in my post? <iframe>, <object> and <embed> doesn't work

there's only limited tags allowed here so i dont think you can. btw thanks for the video! how nica of you :)

nice*

Please don't do this!

Somewhere this month chrome will DISABLE NPAPI, meaning the flash player installed in this video will no longer work!

Hi French Inhale.

I already announced in this post that Google Chrome will no longer be supporting NPAPI as of this month (as ZeroZshadow said). I also already posted the method you described here but removed it since it will no longer be valid once this happens.

I'll leave the topic open just now for any users who have questions, but if you do this then please understand it will be temporary.

Regards,

Tranquility.

Yes the tags are usable by mods and devs.

I'm going to lock this topic, as NPAPI is no longer supported by Chrome. Not even using this guide.
