Like every CurveFever player knows,

currently there are 2 gamemodes, TEAM and FFA with all power ups possible.

I think everyone hoped for a new Gamemode, but nobody knew which gamemode should come.

So here is a new Gamemode suggestion.

 

I call the new GameMode, Weapon game.

 

What's the idea:

A new power up mode, in every game. This power up mode changes the whole Gamemode, that's why I call it a new GameMode. The power ups can be chosen by host, max is "all green and red items".

Every player can choose a few power ups, the max is 5 powers each player.

The power ups won't be spawned, every player has his own powers.

You can use your powers by the keys: "1", "2", "3", "4" and "5".

Every player has to set powers in the numbers, in this example I add the Green speed in key number 1.

If I press key "1", the Green speed will be activated. You can only do 1 key every (idk) seconds.

 

Extra

I think we can use as best a maximum of 6 (FFA/TEAM) players for a room like this.

Questions

Q: Why is the maximum of players 6?

A: This is just a random option, but I think we shouldn't do 8 players, that's a bit too much.

Q: Red and green powers?

A: Geert should choose that if this gamemode becomes real.

I like it, but there is a slight problem, for all the other players items come completely unexpected so someone could just be going normally then oh someone suddenly got fast and cut me off, no time to react.

Actually that example isn't half bad, but items like turtle, invert, and corner just bring a load of pain if someone can just release an invert out of no where. It can just be REALLY unfair, I'd like it better if players were able to see the powerups the other players have, and also a cooldown for each powerup so there's no instant speed stack or something.

Maybe a maze idea, you need to survive as long as possible in a maze! Or maybe hide and seek. 1 player is hiding and the others need to touch him?

Idea: The No Draw Area Game Mode

When you start, it shows: "Hold the left arrow" or "move to the left"

When all players do this, the game starts.

Now you are all circling in No Draw Area. can be 1 player, can be 8 players.
In this epic scenario you get the choice to immediately leave the No Draw Area to secure your own space ( which other might do to) or to stay in the No Draw Area untill its run out and use the remaining routes to manouvre through the map.

 

Idea 2: random map shape

HEXAGON

CIRCLE

TRIANGLE

QUATREFOIL

EGG SHAPE

CURVE FEVER LOGO SHAPE

[EXCITEMENT INTENSIFIES]

 

idea 3: 3D map

you are now not  moving on a 2d square anymore, but on a CUBE. when you hit the border, you move to the other part of the CUBE.

Alternative: CIRCLE SHAPE 3D MAP; You are in the centre of the map, ALL THE TIME. The map moves around in this mode.

Fixed Directions:

Suitable for new players. uses up and down control too. Fixed Directions on up(/\) , down(V) ,left (<) and right (>).Moves on the direction when none of the keys are activated.

Survival

Everyone starts with a set number of points. Everytime you die and someone dies while you're dead, you lose a point. Basically what we do now in reverse.

When your point total reaches 0, you're out. The others continue playing untill someone else reaches 0 etc. This continues untill there are (???) players left. The winner is the one with the most points left.

This seems like a good idea to me, but I still have a few things to check out and I probably overlooked something. I'll be working on this. I like to thank Nintendo for the inspiration.

The Orb

can be played in teams or ffa, each player/team has a small circular shape (like a power up) in the color of the player/team (if i am blue my orb would be blue), (if i am in team hot the color would be red or any other hot color). each player must protect his orb or try to eat the enemies orb.

NOTE: the players would have very big holes so the attacking player can get through and the map should be very big, orbs have constant location near the edges of the map, 4 players max (2v2/1v1v1v1), all power ups would be blue, (if the big holes idea isn't good ordoesnt work maybe you (editors) could try to make the players have a constant body length (like in real snake) and instead of normal powerups you can make a powerup that increases length for a long time

 

 

PLEASE TRY TO DO THIS, MAYBE A NEW GAME THAT HAS THE SAME STYLE (LIKE FLAPPY CURVE) I AM READY TO DONATE ALOT OF MONEY

i´m dreaming of like a huge map, with hundred people and it takes hours to have a winner... but the internet problems will happen.

Gamemode suggestion: Kill me please!

The objective is to get yourself killed ASAP. You cannot kill yourself with your own line. Killed first = +5, second is +4, etc. (on a 6-player game)

And:

CPU training mode.

I know, coding this would be really hard but it would still be cool. Basically you can practice CF with CPU snakes with multiple difficulties.

I have an idea of items which could be very funny. It is very simple to develop, it's an item containing 3 green speed instead of 1. It would create a funnier game and maybe skiller cause people have to control 3 speeds every time. Of course this item would appear less than normal speed to not create a mess.

I really think it would create a new way of playing speed and speeders will love that.
