Curve Fever 3 runs in WebGL. WebGL is a technology that allows games to use the graphics card (also known as the Graphics Processing Unit or GPU). It is well supported on modern PC's and laptops, but not so good on old ones (pre 2012). If you read this FAQ, then you probably are having issues with WebGL. This FAQ is here to enable you to identify and solve your issues.
Use this link to find out if you can run WebGL version 1 and to learn more important information about your WebGL implementation: http://webglreport.com
A common issue is that the drivers are not up to date. Updating your GPU with the latest drivers is a mandatory step on improving the performance of WebGL.
You can find your drivers by following the steps in this link: https://help.sketchup.com/en/article/36253 .

Trying different browsers is often the easiest fix to your solutions. Try: Firefox, Chrome, Edge or Opera.
Some PC's and Laptops have 2 GPU's (especially if you have a great PC/Laptop, than this is usually the case). By default the browsers chooses to run WebGL on the slowest GPU (the integrated graphics card). You have to assign your better GPU to your browser manually. You can do so by enabling it in the NVIDIA control Panel or the AMD Catalyst Control Center (depending on your GPU)
Sometimes, other programs can have an impact on your experience. If you close all other applications and tabs, and restart your PC, you should have a better experience. Also disable as many startup programs as you can: http://www.howtogeek.com/74523/how-to-disable-startup-programs-in-windows/
Curve Fever does some checks to see if you have a proper GPU. These are the warnings it can give:
Check if your GPU is blacklisted using the help of this site: https://www.khronos.org/webgl/wiki/BlacklistsAndWhitelists . Or use this page when using FireFox: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Blocklisting/Blocked_Graphics_Drivers.
If you have a non supported GPU, your best bet is to switch browsers. So try one of the other major browsers: Firefox, Chrome, Edge or Opera.
When you get this message, it means that you can enable WebGL. However, your best option will be to try a different browser first, as normally there is a good reason why WebGL is disabled in your browser. So try one of the other major browsers: Firefox, Chrome, Edge or Opera.
However, if you want to enable WebGL, you can do so by following these instructions: http://superuser.com/questions/836832/how-can-i-enable-webgl-in-my-browser
When you get this message, it means that you can run the game, but the game won't run on your GPU, but completely on your CPU (your processor). In general this means that you will have a choppy experience if you do decide to play the game. Your best bet is to try different browsers: Firefox, Chrome, Edge or Opera. If all of these browsers get this warning, than you should update your drivers.
When nothing of the above works, then you will have to wait till the standalone releases. We are currently certifying the standalone. When that is done we can upload the standalone!
