The CurveRadio September's competition!
Hello CurveFever players & CurveRadio listeners!
The CurveRadio team has prepared September's competition for you with a supercool prize - CurveRadio T-shirt (you can have a look at the website www.curveradio.com in Merchandise).
The previous competition was promoting CurveFever, now we would like you to help us to promote CurveRadio this time. The task for you will be really simple:
Create a nice Status in any social network (facebook, twitter...) about CurveRadio, share it with your friends and help us to get more listeners. Post a print screen of your Status or share the link here in this topic. The winner with the best Status, will be selected by DJs according to these points:
1) The most funny, smart and innovative Status.
2) Most liked, commented, shared/retweeted Status.
We will also draw a random participant from the urn and appriciate his/her afford by giving him/her a new color (pink/lime) in the CurveRadio chat! And finally, special priority for song request will be given to all contributors during the Day of winner announcment.
We are kindly asking you to make this competition fair, by not cheating. In case of others posting fake print screens, we will ask you to show us proof (by sending the facebook link to us).
The competition starts on 1st September and ends on 30st September (exact date of the end will be specified later).
We've been updating playlists for Auto-DJ and we are also trying to be more active, play good music and entertain you. Help us to improve the Radio.

@TheNewbie I don't think you have to complain about the downtime of CurveRadio. Is rare that the site is offline. We had a couple little problems the past weeks we know ;) But we Tiemen, the DJ's.. (aka the whole crew) does it for fun and we like to keep it fun :) If we maybe got more donation we would be able to ;)
I'm really looking forward to the competition and want to see where this goes to :)

Either way it's for the best. Even some "DJs" are leaving as well. Will give more room for talented people to show their skills.
I think new blood and staff have some ideas on how to make this radio project blow up. I mean, Timmy allowed a borderline furry to have a spot on air...
A few things from, not that anyone gives 2 shi ts about it all. The situation at this time is that Ateri (the pokemon fetishist) and Averozon have left the radio. And Timmy is no longer admin of the radio. Some passive agressive BS is also taking place (Averazon claiming rights to parts of CR page design, DJs quitting on the spot, etc...). All because the team changed a bit (actually, only Timmy got demoted... which is understandable).
Which begs the question - was this little project ever about music and having fun. Or was it all about control and power (being able to ban people and having command on air, picking music and so on). It seems the latter is true.
Instead of improving the radio, spreading the word, playing music people have decided to sabbotage it. Be asured there will be a smearing campaign as well.
timmy, you need to get that napoleon complex in check and do some serious growing up.

It is true that Tiemen was demoted, but he isn't the only one that was demoted. There are some other people who were demoted for no real reasons.
Regardings to your quote about "this little project ever about music and having fun. Or was it all about control and power". It is both.
This little project has brought music to all listeners, whether they disliked it or not. Not all listener's request can be met, to either: 1) They are inappropriate songs, 2) Something someone does not understand, or 3) sometimes DJ fancy bringing a show to make a difference. However, some listeners do not appreciate the change and prefer the usual show, which sometimes can be boring. But also I have experienced myself that sometimes request are delayed, because it takes time to get their requests, and some listeners do not have the patience and rages to leave and how sh*t this radio is, when it does not go their way.
We have control and power on the radio to stop trollers and people who does not follow the rules. I won't deny that some of the commands may have been misused, and sometimes there is a misunderstanding, which a listener reasoned with me and I sincerely apologised.
Although you have said to do some serious growing, Curveradio has been alive for 1 year, compared to Curvefever, it is 2 years older. If you are basing on the current status of it within this 1 year to make up to the standard that Curvefever took in 3 years, that is demanding and pressurising.

lol... CR is not dead mate - the numbers are rising. I think it's due to the fact that during the "peak hours" people can just listen to good music and not some virgin teenagers bitch about their lives in VERY broken english :( the fact of the matter is - CF players don't give 2 fcks about Timmy and all this "drama".
People just want good music - a DJ is a plus if he's energetic and interestin... ability to speak clearly is also appreciated.
