Nope. I wouldn't suggest to anyone to learn how to play any version of the current CF games. This game is just fucking over. The developers failed remarkably on literally every possible level. Most importantly they failed to keep the game updated whatsoever and got rid of most of their community they once had due to ignoring their own community for years.

Nothing ever suggested was ever implemented. There were thousands of ideas and suggestions that players had and shared. Obviously Geert and his team pretended for years that they are collecting all of this for the future development of this game but unfortunately due to different projects they always said they work on (a CF mobile version which was never released, new CF versions that no one asked for) nothing could be done. There was always something else on the priority list which had more importance. But hey, you can only keep going on like this for a while though if you don't want to lose your face in front of your community. And that's exactly what happened. The players started to look through this whole charade. At this point the downfall was almost inevitable.

The game didn't change at all since I played my first game and that was more than half a decade ago. Maybe a new color was added once or twice. Curve Fever is a text book example on how to ruin your own game as a game developer. It's a pitty really, because they had so much potential to work with and a big followership. This game died the moment Geert had no interest anymore to keep up with what's going on here. Instead he gave guys like Alan the key to his kingdom and let them manage what was left of the game.

it's sad that he doesn't even have the courage to accept his failure. Instead hes adding a cheeky cf pro advertisement into CF2 ...

I agree as well as the others do. But what I really don't understand about it at all: Usually that's a behaviour which developer show as soon as they try to earn more money.

I am 100% sure that the best way for Geert to earn money would have been a cf2 remastered with the suggestions of the community. People would love that and pay money for premium as well. I really have 0.0 ideas why they don't listen to the community, why they don't want to make a version of the game that everyone asked for. I just can't understand.
