I don't think so. If you are a player and search for a clan, you can go to the 'dashboard' and there you have an option to send application to every clan. So every clanleader(and all people of the clan which are allowed to add people) can see you searching a clan and can invite you to his/her clan.

So every clan who needs players can just take a look to the list and finds you :P
